A comprehensive  assessment  typically includes:

• An in-depth interview with the student and his or her parents to gather information about the nature and severity of the student’s difficulties, as well as his or her educational, medical, and behavioral history

• Formal psychological and educational testing

• Behavior ratings completed by the student him/herself, by parents, and by teachers

• A review of all available educational and treatment records

• Consultation with current treatment providers and teachers when appropriate

• Feedback provided to the student and his or her parents regarding the results and conclusions of the assessment

• A thorough written report detailing the results of the assessment, conclusions drawn, and recommendations to make the most of each child’s strengths and effectively target their needs

Dr. Pritchard’s clients are children, adolescents, and young adults:

• who are encountering challenges academically and/or behaviorally, in school or at home

• who are performing well academically and may be eligible for gifted programs

• who are gifted but are not reaching their potential

• who are requesting accommodations for standardized testing or in college

• who have trouble interacting with peers or in social situations

• who may be experiencing emotional concerns such as anxiety or depression
